Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress, famous for her character Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" and has earned lots of attention. Calvano is a Californian who initially was intrigued by the sport of competitive gymnastics. In the end, however, Calvano chose to pursue an acting career. In 2010 she was first seen on screen in a scene from the CBS series 'NCIS.' One year later her debut big screen appearance was in the biographical drama movie J Edgar. She is now one of the most exciting actors in recent times. She received nominated in the Young Artist Award, Best Performance by a Young Actress on a TV Series for her part in the show "NCIS". She was also nominated in 2013 for a Young Artist Award, this time because of her appearance as a guest actor on Disney XD's comedic series "Kickin' It". Calvano played a major role in "Mom" in the series in its first three seasons and also made several cameos in Season 4. The actress won the Gracie Allen Award in 2015 for the Best Female Actor - Rising Star due to her performance in 'Mom.
